McDonald's has announced its plans to completely make over 14,000 locations nationwide.
The revamp will include new wooden tables with faux leather furniture and a more muted paint job to create a more home-like atmosphere.
According to reports, the company is hoping that customers will linger in the restaurants for longer after they've finished their meal, much like a coffee shop or cafe.
The company $1-billion makeover is scheduled for completion by 2015.
