Stanley Tucci has officially joined the cast of the film "The Hunger Games."
The Academy Award nominee joins fellow award nominee Jennifer Lawrence to play Caesar Flickerman, the host of the Hunger Games, which is a televised event where one boy and one girl from different districts fight each other to the death.
The film is based on the same-named novel by Suzanne Collins.
Jennifer Lawrence will star as the film's heroine, Katniss Evans, alongside Liam Hemsworth who plays her character's love interest Gale Hawthorne.
The movie is set for release in March of next year.
