Daytime Emmys Nominees Announced

The U.S. soap operas "The Bold and the Beautiful," "All My Children" and "General Hospital" were nominated for Daytime Emmy Awards Wednesday.

The shows will compete with "The Young and the Restless" in the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series category.

In the running for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series are Susan Flannery for "The Bold and the Beautiful," Michelle Stafford for "The Young and the Restless," Colleen Zenk for "As the World Turns," Alicia Minshew and Debbi Morgan for "All My Children," and Laura Wright for "General Hospital."

The nominees for Lead Actor are Christian LeBlanc for "The Young and the Restless," Michael Park for "As the World Turns," Maurice Benard for "General Hospital," Ricky Paull Goldin for "All My Children" and James Scott for "Days of Our Lives."

Competing for the Outstanding Talk Show -- Entertainment Emmy are "Rachael Ray," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Live with Regis and Kelly" and "The View."

Shortlisted for the Outstanding Talk Show -- Informative prize are "Dr. Phil," "The Doctors" and "The Dr. Oz Show."

Nominated for Outstanding Talk Show Host are Rachael Ray for "Rachael Ray;" Dr. Travis Stork, Dr. Andrew Ordon, Dr. Jim Sears, Dr. Lisa Masterson for "The Doctors," Dr. Mehmet Oz for "The Dr. Oz Show;" Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa for "Live With Regis and Kelly;" and Sherri Shepherd, Barbara Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg for "The View."

The 38th annual Daytime Emmy Awards are to be handed out June 19 in Las Vegas. The ceremony is to air on CBS with comedian and TV personality Wayne Brady serving as host.

Game-show hosts Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek are to receive Lifetime Achievement Awards at the event.
