Will Ken Blackwell find the ways to steal Ohio 2006 as he did in 2004?
By Bob
Fitrakis and Harvey Wasserman
The man who stole Ohio for George W. Bush in 2004 is
now trying to steal it for himself in 2006. The question is: who will stop him,
and will he also affect the balance of power in the U.S. Congress?

Stealing the midterm elections and the power of myth
By Mike Whitney
Karl Rove is not
Harry Houdini. He cant change the fact that the Democrats could take up to 40
seats in the House and that the Republicans may lose the Senate as well. He
cant change the national polling-data which favors the Democrats by a
considerable margin, or the exit polling which is predicted to show substantial
Democratic gains, too. And, theres nothing Rove can do to stop the perception
that the elections are now expected to be a Democratic landslide extending from
sea to shining sea. The only thing that Rove can do to win the midterms is to
purge the voting roles in key states and crank up the voting machines to
full-tilt.

Ecuador as banana republic?
By Jerry Mazza
That is the question
for the Ecuadorian people, as paradigm for Mexican, South and Central Americans
and Americans themselves, as Ecuadorians face a runoff election between the

and banana magnate.

The polls all point to a Democratic sweep in November.
The news pours in about pedophile Republicans and Team Bush contempt for their
fundamentalist bedmates. Iraq implodes. Deficits soar. Katrina lingers. Scandal

Democracy battle in Florida
By Joel S. Hirschhorn
Voters in Florida should not fall victim to the
slick advertising by corporate and other special interests. Their aim is to
pass Amendment 3. Why? Because the corporatist state wants to up the percent of
votes required to pass citizen ballot initiatives that amend Florida's
constitution, from the current simple majority requirement to a supermajority
of 60 percent. If this tactic succeeds, Florida would be the only state
requiring such a supermajority for ballot measures and initiatives, and
corporate interests will work to do the same in other states.

Viguerie to the GOP: Fuhgedaboutit
By Bill Berkowitz
With the Republican Party in disarray and
control of the U.S. Congress at stake in the upcoming November elections, a
host of top-shelf conservative Christian leaders are still sticking with the
GOP despite the Foley Scandal and the quagmire in Iraq. However, Richard Viguerie,
widely recognized as one of the founding fathers of the modern conservative
movement, has a different message for conservatives.

Court victory lets preserved Ohio 2004 ballots tell new tales of theft and fraud as indictments and convictions mount
By Bob Fitrakis
& Harvey Wasserman
Ohio election protection activists have won a landmark
court battle to preserve the ballots from 2004s disputed presidential
election, and researchers studying those ballots continue to find new evidence
that the election was, indeed, stolen. Among other things, large numbers of
consecutive votes in different precincts for George W. Bush make it appear ever
more likely that the real winner in 2004 should have been John Kerry.
Meanwhile, indictments and prison terms are mounting among key players in that
tainted contest.

How to steal the next election using the Diebold AccuVote-TS voting machine or others like it
By Rev. Bill McGinnis
Researchers at Princeton University have
released a new "Security Analysis of the Diebold AccuVote-TS Voting
Machine," which finds many possibilities for election fraud in these
particular voting machines. Their report also recognizes that similar problems
likely exist with other direct recording electronic (DRE) voting machines, saying,
"Simply put, many computer scientists doubt that paperless DREs can be
made reliable and secure, and they expect that any failures of such systems
would likely go undetected."

"Smoking gun" evidence uncovered in Ohio of massive vote fraud in 2004 election
By Wayne Madsen
(WMR) -- After the November 2004
presidential election, this editor reported on massive vote fraud, particularly
in Ohio. The relevant articles are found here, here, here, and here.
Sources within the U.S. Intelligence Community provided information on the
financing -- via foreign funding sources, covert intelligence networks, and
illegal pseudo-banking routes -- of programmers, election officials, and others
to ensure that Bush and Cheney captured Ohio's critical 20 electoral votes.

McKinney votes stolen by Diebold; the electronic vote manipulation network and you
By Larry Chin
In her Georgia primary election, Cynthia McKinney has
been forced into a run off election against a political unknown, a relative
flea/cockroach, Hank Johnson. It has been confirmed that McKinney votes were stolen by Diebold machines that
flipped her votes over to Johnson. Johnsons sole qualification is that he is
not McKinney. Thats enough for the powerful forces aligned against her.

The Democrats election year stunts: A neutering in full stride
By Joshua Frank
You

pulling troops out of Iraq by year's end. But his plea couldn't carry less
weight -- for his party doesn't agree with the doc.
