Country music's Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were married in Texas Saturday evening, Us Weekly reported.
The award-winning couple told the magazine they got hitched in front of 550 family members and friends at the Don Strange Ranch outside San Antonio with Lambert wearing her mother's wedding dress.
Among those on hand were Reba McEntire, Cee Lo Green, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Charles Kelly and the Bellamy Brothers, Us Weekly said.
"I'm married to my best friend!" Lambert told Us afterward. "Looking forward to a lifetime of laughter."
Shelton kicked in by saying he'd been waiting for this day since he proposed a year ago.
"I wanted to be married to Miranda the day I proposed," he said. "Finally, it's official!"
It's the first marriage for the 27-year-old Lambert and second for the 34-year-old Shelton, who was married to Kaynette Williams from 2003 to 2006.
Lambert is known such songs as "House That Built Me" and her albums "Kerosene," "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and "Revolution." Shelton has five albums under his belt and eight No. 1 hits, including this year's "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking."
