U.S. Internet giant Facebook said its new video chat service would be available to all users in a few weeks.

Facebook launched the joint service with Skype, in part as a response to a new Google social network Web site called Google+, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

Google+ was launched last week and includes video chatting with up to 10 people at a time, which makes it a more versatile system than the one launched by Facebook, which can handle two users chatting together.

While announcing the availability of video chatting, Facebook founder and Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg announced a Facebook milestone of having 750 million users worldwide.
