Chord Overstreet has been expelled from the cast of "Glee," but the producers say he could make occasional guest appearances on the Fox series.
Overstreet joined the popular series last season in a recurring guest role as Sam Evans, but a Fox representative told People he would not be back on a regular basis.
People said Overstreet, 22, fired off a Tweet Friday in which he said it had been a good year but it was "time for summer and starting fresh."
