Halle Berry has been granted a temporary restraining order against a male stalker, Reuters reports.
TMZ reports that Richard A. Franco, 27, has been ordered to stay 100 yards from Berry as well as her 3-year-old
daughter, Nahla.
Franco allegedly initially saw Franco in her backyard on Saturday while she was talking to her manager, Vincent Cirrincione. Cirrincione yelled at
Franco, who fled the scene.
Berry saw Franco again when she went into her kitchen outside of her glass door. The police were called, and arranged 24-hour armed security for Berry. Franco was captured Monday when he returned again.
Franco
has a criminal history of violent, theft, and drug crimes. He was also found with a book of "ramblings" and Berry's name in
his handwriting, NBC reports.
Franco was charged on suspicion of stalking and his bail has been set at $150,000.
