Ann Coulter, a typical right-wing American Christian

In 2006 Ann Coulter said, " . . . Christianity fuels everything I write. Being a Christian means that I am called upon to do battle against lies, injustice, cruelty, hypocrisy -- you know, all the virtues in the church of liberalism."

In true right-wing American Christian-style, she has also called John Edwards a faggot which resulted in a fund-raising bonanza for the Presidential hopeful. Coulter wrote that Mr. and Mrs. Edwards have a bumper sticker on their car that reads Ask me about my dead son in reference to the death of their 16-year-old child, Wade, who was killed in a car accident in 1996. Coulter criticized the four 9/11 widows who had the audacity to support Democrats by writing that I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much. Regarding the liberal media, Coulter stated: "My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building."

All of this repulsive rhetoric resulted in increased book sales for Coulter and, more importantly, she got a huge dose of attention from each outrageous barb, something that her emaciated little being craves above spiritual or edible nourishment.

A doctor should analyze this attention-starved, skeletal scalawag and the psychology behind her infantile opinions and rabble-rousing statements. The diagnosis seems quite simple. She opposes abortion rights and views all liberals who favor abortion rights as the vilest people alive because they condone the murder of innocent unborn babies. This get-the-bad-guys mentality creates a free-for-all, anything-goes brand of lunacy in the oxygen-deprived brains of the likes of Coulter. Of course, she picks on liberals about other issues but its definitely abortion that makes her stringy bleached-blonde hair stand on end.

Who could forget anti-abortion nutwing and rabid Christian Randall Terry who was operating from the same warped perspective when he called for the bombing of Planned Parenthood clinics and the murder of doctors who perform any kind of abortion procedure? If you appreciate the warped logic behind their belief system, you would understand that Randall Terry and Ann Coulter have no choice but to act out against anyone that they deem to be baby killers. Granted Coulter has only stated her wish that John Edwards be killed by terrorists while Terry is capable of ordering such an act from his Christian followers. At its core, they share the same brand of religious conviction that leads religious fanatics to commit heinous acts.

Volumes can be written about people like Coulter who call themselves Christians and act like repellent overbearing tyrants because they are so convinced that they have a lock on the truth. Theyre never humble; seldom compassionate and rarely Christ-like in anything they say or do. In 2006, Coulter herself said it best: Christ died for my sins and nothing else matters. And that sentiment rears its ugly head in every move she makes though Christ himself would beg to differ. A lot of other things matter.

Coulter claims that the Bible is her favorite book, narrowly edging out the biography of the Hillside Strangler. If this is true, one wonders if she can read Jesus words with even an elementary level of comprehension. Just what did Jesus mean when he supposedly said "Blessed are the peacemakers;" "Love your enemies;" "It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God;" "Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers--which you do unto me"?

A more recent statement by Coulter further reveals her limited intellect. She said, Im more of a man than any liberal. Its good that she acknowledges her manliness considering her prominent Adams apple and her pre-pubescent boyish figure. Unfortunately Coulter thinks shes a femme fatale and she intends to insult liberal men by impugning their masculinity. Coulter does not understand that liberals are more evolved than she is and they dont worry about schoolyard taunts that have no relevance in 2007. The fear that a skinny cynical bully like Coulter might label someone a sissy would only have resonance in conservative circles where grown men still worry about who has the most playing cards in their bikes spokes.

The lack of manliness that Coulter perceives in liberal men is nothing more than fodder for her infantile conservative fans. Keep in mind that these are the same people who worry about naked statues in the halls of the Justice Department. They obsess about their neighbors sex lives and giggle about anything to do with human body parts. Sadly many of these folks are so repressed that they eventually get caught making child pornography videos with their favorite minister or some other heinous act born from years of denying human nature.

The fact is that Coulter isnt nearly as intelligent as she or her privileged silver-spoon-fed education would have you believe. Take away her familys influence and money and shed probably be typing memos about some sales clerks retirement party from a run-of-the-mill American company on the outskirts of New Canaan, Connecticut; even more bitter and nasty than she is today because no one would pay her any attention.
