Justin Timberlake accepted a combat instructor's YouTube invitation and kept his promise to attend the Instructor Battalion Marine Corps Ball in Virginia.
Marine combat instructor Kelsey De Santis posted an invitation for Timberlake to be her date in a YouTube video this summer, People magazine reported.
"So, Justin," she said in her online invitation, "I'm going to call you out and ask you to come to the Marine Corps ball with me on Nov. 12. And if you can't go, all I have to say is, cry me a river."
Timberlake accepted and made good on his promise Saturday, accompanying De Santis to the ball at the Richmond Convention Center.
"We all brought sexy back!" a fellow Marine who attended the affair told People. "Justin seemed to have a good time, and it was great to see him there."
