MTV denied multiple online reports that it will be re-casting hit reality show "The Jersey Shore" after its fifth season.
"We love the present cast, and their summer adventures have just begun.
We currently have no plans to recast the show," a net spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter.
The previous reports claimed MTV was set to re-cast the show due to the expenses the current cast racks up; each member reportedly earns $100,000 per episode, according to Us Weekly.
Some of the cast members already have their own spin-off deals. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenny "JWoww" Farley will have cameras follow their escapades when they move in together, and Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio's travels as a DJ will be chronicled on his own reality show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Both shows are set to premiere in 2012.
The partying fist-pumpers have recently finished shooting their fourth season in Florence, Italy. They will be returning to Seaside Heights, New Jersey Monday to start their fifth season, MSNBC reports.
