"L.A. Ink" star and tattoo artist Kat Von D and fiance Jesse James, a reality television personality, broke off their engagement for a second time.
"I am not in a relationship," the tattoo artist posted on her Facebook page Saturday. "And I apologize for all the 'back and forth' if it's caused any confusion."
The two, who were planning a summer wedding, first called off their engagement in July and a month later, Von D's show "L.A. Ink" was canceled, People.com reported.
"It was clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life," Von D said of her recent breakup with the "Jesse James is a Dead Man" and "Monster Garage" star. "My friend put it best when he said I could never be more deserving of total, noble love. And as a woman, I think it's important to know your value and never lose sight of that."
Being in a long-distance relationship may have also been an issue for Von D and James, who lives in Austin Texas. James is the ex-husband of Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock.
"I am not in any way moving to Texas," Von D posted on Facebook. "And I am not leaving my shop here in Los Angeles, High Voltage Tattoo."
