Earthquake Strikes Baja California

A magnitude 5.9 earthquake hit the coast of Baja California in northwestern Mexico Tuesday.

So far, there are no reports of damages or injuries.

The earthquake's epicenter was 62 miles from Los Mochis, Sinaloa and 620 miles from Tijuana, Baja California, CNN reports.

It occurred at 11:44 a.m. local time at a depth of 3.1 miles, Reuters reports.
