Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am was forced to flee London's Hilton on Park Lane when the 28-story building caught on fire Friday, Us Weekly reports.

Will.i.am was in town with his band to perform a concert in Hyde Park when he and 1,500 guests evacuated the hotel shortly before 7 p.m. local time.

At least 20 firefighters were on the scene once news of the disaster broke, People reports. Although no official cause of the fire has been released, it reportedly began in the hotel's second-floor kitchen.

There were no fire-related injuries reported, but one elderly evacuee was treated for undisclosed health concerns, the London Ambulance Service told the BBC.

The musician went on to perform with his band at the sold-out Hyde Park Wireless Festival that night, OnTheRedCarpet.com reports.

"I'm dj'n in the sky hovering over 60 thousand people in hyde park," he tweeted, posting a photo.
