The blogs are alive with the sound of Impeachment!

And we can thank one man: Representative Dennis Kucinich, who this time brought 35 Articles of Impeachment against President George W Bush in the Congress on Monday night. Click the link and scroll down past a number of relevant articles to a video of Dennis reading them and a packet of printable offenses.

All I can say is Kucinich for President -- if not as a Democrat then what about as an Independent, a peoples candidate. This is the guy with the real stuff, the heart, brains, and soul to lead. Of course, Kucinichs articles include Bush willfully falsifying intelligence to start the illegal Iraq war.

Of course, as with his first round of impeachment proceedings against Cheney last November, which were stalled to death in committee, the Democrats again oppose Kucinichs ballsy effort. Their plan is to scuttle the resolution by passing it on to the Judiciary Committee where they figure itll die a nice soundless death.

In fact, House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer said yesterday that getting involved in a deep debate over impeaching Bush in the waning days of his administration is not a productive use of the Houses time. Kiss my Timex, Steny.

In the time left, Loose Canon Bush can start World War III by bombing Iran and canceling the election with his Emergency Powers Act -- and be frigging president for life. He is presently lobbying to do just that as the BBC reports in Bush warns Iran of all options. The article tells us Bush is visiting world leaders and continuing to lie about Iran. Check out the article for details.

In fact, Kucinich nailed Bush extensively on that point, listing how Bush and Cheney are deliberately contradicting the CIAs intelligence that Iran is not producing nuclear offensive weapons (or, by the way that Israel has 200 nuclear warheads). The point is Iran is Iraq, dj vu all over again as Yogi Berra would say. And the Democratic lames are sitting on their butts as usual, doing nothing but saying what cant be done, "not enough time. Theyre curiously dysfunctional whereas Bush is perversely proactive. Work on that one.

Remember, this is the Bush gang that brought us the Inside Job of 9/11. Listen to Professor David Ray Griffin, one of the leading experts on what happened, speak of the need to make Bush and company responsible -- impeachable -- for this heinous crime.

Again, Kucinich is the only politician in America who has had the guts to come forth and serve an impeachment notice to the top two culprits in the White House. Whats that worth to you, America, an arm and a leg of a son or daughter in Iraq or Afghanistan, or Iran? The end to the brutal violence our country is coming to stand for? The squandering of our treasury on war hardware, kickbacks to Halliburton contractors, roided Blackwater paramilitaries, poorly armored vehicles that kill our soldiers?

Is it like this story from the NY Times, Bearing Witness to the Fallen and the Grieving, that will bring tears to your eyes at the callous treatment of military dead and their families? How coffins with US dead in them are put in cardboard containers to hide what they are; how they are fork-lifted into commercial airliner holds, de-cardboard-ed, and draped with flags, fork-lifted through airport backdoors and jettisoned onto carousels where the families will meet them and have to haul them away? Or someone will get to watch one just circle and circle and circle, into eternity?

Thats why the blogs are alive with the sound of Impeachment. The notices are rolling into my computer faster than I can open them, sign them and send them out to friends or family. Thats called activism, pushing back against this destructive force called Bush, the force that is destroying our economy with war expenditures, tax cuts to the rich, the housing bubble bust, deepening debt, soaring gas prices, massive monthly losses of jobs, Medicare and Medicaid cuts.

He and his Wall Street Hedge Fund friends are looting America every which way they can. And Bush Treasury Secretary Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke are giving them all the help they need. Were going broke, folks, broke. They cant even pay doctors their frigging Medicare/Medicaid bills. Thats why they constantly hassle the medical profession with endless forms, delays, denials, resubmissions, every imaginable stalling tactic.

Yet Steny thinks putting Bush on notice right now is not a productive use of the Houses time. Well, what is, turkey, borrowing from China to give us that bribe tax rebate to look the other way as the Titanic sinks? Or watching Bush slice off pieces from veterans' benefits, or hearing that Rumsfeld was taking bribes on sub-standard trailers in Iraq, and threatening to torture the CIA woman he wanted to hire to monitor corruption -- that is if she found any, i.e., his.

Is this the kind of dreck we should keep putting up with, Unemployment Rate Hits 5.5%; Payrolls Shrink for Fifth Month [New York Times]? Or even a US plot to nail Iran backfires. This was a scam that the Asia Times reported and the Western press blacked out: The George W Bush administration's plan to create a new crescendo of accusations against Iran for allegedly smuggling arms to Shi'ite militias in Iraq has encountered not just one but two setbacks.

The government of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki refused to endorse US charges of Iranian involvement in arms smuggling to Shi'ite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr's Mahdi Army, and a plan to show off a huge collection of Iranian arms captured in and around the central city of Karbala had to be called off after it was discovered that none of the arms was of Iranian origin. Imagine that.

Read the story to believe it. Itll make your eyes pop at how malicious and equally stupid these White House white men and Pentagon fools are. And in the middle of all this, we dont have time to impeach this pineapple Bush, this walking grenade that could pull the pin on us at any time?

There is nothing more important in my mind timewise than taking the time to evict Bush from office, like now. So when that petition comes to you, sign it. Send Dennis a contribution. Send him to the White House. Lets give Obama some incentive to stop acting like he already works for Israel and its favorite US lobby, AIPAC, by pinning their flag to his lapel.

Even Foxs pro-Israel New York Post nailed him on that: OYBAMA! PIN UP DEM WOOS JEWS. Where did you go, brother? We thought you were going to take it to the man. Change, change, change, baby; thats what its supposed to be all about.

All that jive aside, think Dennis. Hes back. Hes bad. And hes beautiful. And hes out there stirring up a ruckus, which is what it will take to unseat these beasties.

Dumb as McCain is, they wont let Johnny boy self-destruct like he almost did in the Navy at least three times, blowing up a couple of expensive airplanes, setting the USS Forestal afire and helping to kill many sailors in the process. This is not the dude you want running the country, trust me. At the very least, Dennis will keep Obama, Hillary, Nancy, Harry, and the gang honest -- that is, as honest as they can be. And that aint a whole lot. Oh no, Joe.
